AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and improve a large-scale AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance AWS networking and compute services while ensuring availability, security, and performance standards
• Architect and implement automated disaster recovery solutions and regularly test recovery strategies
• Build and maintain monitoring solutions, analyze operational data, and optimize cloud architecture for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 10+ years of professional experience working with AWS in complex, production environments
• AWS certification required; advanced or specialty certifications are a plus
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and cloud automation tooling
• Ability to lead by influence and contribute to a highly collaborative engineering team
