AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer for a full-time remote position to design, build, and operate secure and scalable cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services, focusing on infrastructure-as-code, automation, and continuous improvement of production workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade AWS environments with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
• Author and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, ensuring rigorous version control and automated validation
• Implement comprehensive observability and security measures while optimizing costs and ensuring disaster recovery capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on AWS in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and RDS
• Production-grade experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Solid experience designing and operating Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale
