AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a federal Enterprise Data Platform modernization initiative, the full-time Cloud Engineer (AWS) will build, automate, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and related DevSecOps tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting cloud engineering, systems engineering, or platform operations
• Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting AWS environments
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tools
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC
