AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, the contract AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and manage scalable cloud environments across AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage secure, highly available cloud platform environments across AWS
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to define platform standards and optimize performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in AWS cloud platform engineering
• Bachelor's degree required, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals and experience with container platforms like Kubernetes and Docker
