Job Summary

Designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, the full-time AWS Cloud Engineer will work remotely to support the Department of Veterans Affairs by implementing cloud solutions in AWS, automating resources, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
  • Provision and automate cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Implement cloud security measures and monitor environments for performance and availability issues
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS and Azure core services
  • Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/container orchestration
