AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, the contract AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and manage scalable cloud environments across AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud platform services, including networking, identity, compute, and storage components
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard workloads and define platform standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in AWS cloud platform engineering
• Bachelor's degree required; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
