AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of AWS GovCloud infrastructure, the full-time AWS Cloud Engineer will operate and maintain AWS managed services for over 300 mission-critical applications while ensuring high availability and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) governance, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain AWS managed services including ElastiCache, RDS, and Kinesis to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and maintain 100% IaC governance using Terraform for all managed AWS resources
• Manage EC2-based platform services and ensure compliance with AWS certificate lifecycle management

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering
• Experience operating AWS managed services in production GovCloud environments
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining IaC governance using Terraform
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance or eligibility for clearance
