AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, the contract AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and manage scalable cloud environments across AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud platform environments, including networking, identity, compute, and storage components
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for automated provisioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard workloads and ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in AWS cloud platform engineering
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (four additional years may substitute for a degree)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals and experience with CI/CD pipelines
