AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, the contract AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and manage scalable cloud environments across AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage secure and highly available cloud platform environments across AWS
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard workloads and establish platform standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in AWS cloud platform engineering
• Bachelor's degree required, with four additional years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of a degree
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
