Job Summary

Seeking a full-time AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS environments while working remotely and supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions using services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployments using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance and security, troubleshooting infrastructure issues as needed
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS core services and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Strong knowledge of AWS security principles and networking concepts
