AWS Cloud Engineer III

Job Summary

AWS Cloud Engineer III, a contract position focused on infrastructure operations, account lifecycle management, and security compliance in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS accounts and services, including VPC provisioning and configuration management using Terraform
• Implement security controls and maintain compliance through Service Control Policies and IAM policies
• Monitor cloud platform operations, respond to security findings, and support cost management practices

Required Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure engineering
• Proficiency in Terraform (HCL) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) lifecycle management
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Experience working in regulated environments with formal change management processes
