AWS Cloud Migration Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the strategic transition to a hybrid cloud environment, the fully remote AWS Cloud Migration Engineer will architect AWS cloud solutions, manage workload migrations, and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards while collaborating with on-premises teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build secure, scalable AWS cloud landing zones and lead workload migration strategies
- Design and enforce compliance measures for cardholder data environments and implement encryption protocols
- Monitor and optimize hybrid environments for performance, uptime, and cost efficiency during migrations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, with at least 3 years leading AWS cloud migrations
- Proven experience in building or maintaining PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure
- Demonstrated leadership in managing technical projects within a team environment
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification
- Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
