AWS Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and managing secure, scalable network infrastructure, the contract AWS Cloud Network Engineer will work remotely to implement best practices for connectivity and operational performance across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure for secure connectivity between AWS and on-premises systems
• Create and maintain network documentation, including maps, designs, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop network architecture and identify risks and mitigation strategies

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in Network Architecture and/or Engineering
• Bachelor's degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud networking environments and related technologies
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
