AWS Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time AWS Cloud Network Engineer III will design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare eligibility support for IT operations, network, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize AWS networking, including VPC configurations and advanced networking features
• Utilize monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve network performance issues and security incidents
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate network infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Solid understanding of AWS networking services, including VPC, VPN connections, and Transit Gateway
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switch configuration
• Proficiency in using AWS networking monitoring tools such as Splunk and AWS CloudWatch
