AWS Cloud Security Architect

Job Summary

To support secure workload migrations, the contract AWS Cloud Security Architect will ensure the enterprise Landing Zone meets client security standards, review security architecture, and manage data governance requirements while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Review and harden enterprise Landing Zone architecture, ensuring compliance with security governance
• Assess migrating workloads against security best practices and produce necessary documentation
• Support data security and governance efforts, including data classification and compliance strategies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on security experience in cloud and/or enterprise environments
• 2+ years of consulting or professional services delivery experience
• 1+ year of direct AWS experience in a security-focused role
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty (current) required; Solutions Architect - Professional preferred
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
