AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer II (AWS, SecOps).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure and respond to security incidents
• Build and maintain security monitoring capabilities and automate security operations tasks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and conduct threat modeling for new features

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing production environments in AWS
• Proficiency with Terraform for managing and securing cloud infrastructure
• Experience with the full lifecycle of security incidents
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)
• Solid understanding of common web application vulnerabilities and defenses
