AWS Cloud Threat Hunter

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time AWS Cloud Threat Hunter, this remote position will analyze cloud logs using the Falcon platform to identify threats, review cloud security configurations, and develop defensive capabilities to mitigate risks in cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize threat intelligence to analyze cloud logs and identify historical and active threats
• Review and baseline cloud security configurations for anomalies associated with threat activity
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for key stakeholders, including customer management and legal counsel

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on threat hunting experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS
• In-depth understanding of AWS platform security, including logging, identity, and networking
• Strong ability to write modular scripts in Python or Go for AWS services
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows
• Excellent technical writing skills for producing reports and presentations
