AWS Data Architect
Job Summary
To oversee enterprise data platform architecture and governance, the full-time remote AWS Data Architect will provide technical leadership, design scalable data solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through code reviews and implementation guidance
- Design and implement event-driven and real-time data streaming architectures
- Define and enforce best practices for data access, storage, and processing across various use cases
Required qualifications:
- 11+ years in software engineering or relevant IT experience
- Strong knowledge of data architecture patterns (lakehouse, warehouse, mesh)
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services including SQS, API Gateway, and Kinesis
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS
- Solid experience with data modeling for analytical and operational workloads
