Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time salaried AWS Data Architect III will provide hands-on engineering support for an AWS-based enterprise data platform, focusing on operational support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data pipelines and products.
Key responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end operational support for AWS-based data pipelines and products, including S3 and AWS Glue
- Monitor pipeline performance, respond to incidents, and execute root cause analysis for data issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and enhance data quality checks and validation logic
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- 5+ years working with AWS data tools, specifically S3 and AWS Glue
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to read, debug, and optimize complex queries
- Strong Python development experience for data processing and automation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
