AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on modernizing healthcare data platforms and transitioning to a scalable AWS architecture, requiring extensive experience in AWS data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of healthcare data platforms and architect migration strategies to AWS
• Design and build reporting layers for SQL-based queries, ensuring data accessibility for stakeholders
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in cloud data platform migrations within enterprise or healthcare environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
• Experience with XML data stores and designing relational query layers over semi-structured data
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
