AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position responsible for leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, transitioning to a scalable AWS data architecture, and enabling efficient SQL-based reporting for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transition from MSSQL to a cloud-native AWS data architecture
• Design and build reporting layers for non-technical users to run SQL queries
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Athena, Redshift)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
