AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position responsible for leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, transitioning to a scalable AWS architecture, and enabling efficient reporting and querying for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the healthcare data platform to a cloud-native AWS architecture
• Design and build reporting layers for non-technical users to run SQL queries against healthcare data
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a focus on AWS
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Proven experience with cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
• Experience with XML data stores and translating business reporting requirements into data models
