AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, transitioning to a cloud-native AWS architecture and enabling seamless SQL-based reporting for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the healthcare data platform and architect migration paths for data
• Design and build reporting layers for non-technical users and optimize query performance across AWS services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and document architecture decisions for technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare settings
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
