AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform using AWS technologies, requiring extensive experience in cloud data architecture and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the healthcare data platform from MSSQL to a scalable AWS architecture
• Design and build reporting layers for business stakeholders to run SQL queries against healthcare data
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare settings
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
