AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, transitioning to a scalable AWS data architecture, and enabling efficient data reporting and querying for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of the healthcare data platform and architect the migration of XML object store data to AWS
• Design and build reporting layers for SQL-based queries and maintain AWS data catalogs and metadata management
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure using AWS-native tools

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in cloud data platform migrations in production enterprise or healthcare environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services and SQL skills for designing relational query layers
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
