Job Summary
AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform by migrating from MSSQL to a cloud-native AWS architecture, enabling SQL-based reporting for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration and modernization of the healthcare data platform to AWS
- Design and implement data storage and query architecture for optimal performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into data models
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong AWS focus
- Proven experience in cloud data platform migrations in production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services and SQL
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
