AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Data Engineer is a full-time position focused on leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, transitioning to a cloud-native AWS architecture while enabling efficient reporting and query capabilities for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the healthcare data platform and architect the migration of data from MSSQL to AWS
• Design and build reporting layers for SQL queries, optimize query performance, and manage AWS data catalogs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Proven experience in cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare settings
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services and strong SQL skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
