Job Summary
Leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer will implement a scalable AWS data architecture, optimize query performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and reporting in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and execute cloud data platform migrations, focusing on AWS services and reporting solutions
- Design and build the reporting layer for non-technical users to run SQL queries against healthcare data
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure management
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
- Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare environments
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong SQL skills with experience in handling XML-heavy data stores
