Job Summary
To modernize the healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer will lead the transition to a scalable, cloud-native AWS architecture, enabling efficient SQL-based reporting and queries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the evolution from a Microsoft SQL object store to a cloud-native AWS data architecture
- Design and implement optimal AWS data storage and query solutions for healthcare data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into effective data models
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong AWS focus
- Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare settings
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
- Strong SQL skills for designing relational query layers over semi-structured data
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
