Job Summary
To modernize the healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer will lead the transition to a scalable AWS data architecture, enabling seamless SQL-based reporting and queries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of the healthcare data platform and architect the migration of XML object store data to AWS
- Design and implement AWS-native data storage and query architecture, optimizing for performance and cost
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into effective data models and query patterns
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
- Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare environments
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
- Strong SQL skills and experience with XML-heavy data stores
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
