AWS DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a freelancer, the AWS DevOps Engineer will manage customer deployments, automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, and enhance CI/CD processes for enterprise applications and big data workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure creation and enable Infrastructure as Code through deployment tools
- Own and manage the build and release cycle for customer projects, ensuring operational best practices
- Provide operational support for the engineering team and assist in migrating legacy infrastructure to the cloud
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
- 4+ years of configuration management experience for large-scale customers
- 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration experience
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS infrastructure and platform services
- Exposure to container services on AWS, such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS
