Job Summary
Designing and deploying secure AWS cloud solutions, the full-time AWS Engineer will support federal clients by managing infrastructure, automating CI/CD processes, and ensuring compliance with government security standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure to meet government mission requirements
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform, and develop CI/CD pipelines for automation
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and compliance with federal security standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in AWS cloud infrastructure)
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks like FedRAMP or NIST 800-53
