AWS ETL Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Housing Benefit initiative, the full-time AWS ETL Engineer will assess, design, and build a high-volume outbound communications integration using Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS, and VA Notify, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document the capabilities of S-Docs and Salesforce for scalable email integration with AWS
- Build and implement data models and integration components to support end-to-end processing across Salesforce and AWS
- Conduct testing and deploy changes through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring operational readiness and documentation for system administrators
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and document-generation tools such as S-Docs
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/programming language, such as Python or Apex
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship required per VA contract requirements
