AWS FinOps Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced AWS FinOps Analyst, the remote position will lead cloud financial management and optimization initiatives across a large-scale AWS environment, partnering with various stakeholders to enhance cost visibility and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze AWS spending to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities across various services
- Lead initiatives focused on cost transparency, accountability, and governance within AWS FinOps
- Conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews with an emphasis on cost optimization and develop executive-level recommendations
Required qualifications
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and/or FOCUS Certified
- 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud financial management or cloud cost optimization
- Strong experience with AWS cost management services, including AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets
- Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks and financial accountability models
- Hands-on AWS expertise across core platform services
