Job Summary
To support government-related projects, the full-time AWS GovCloud Site Reliability Engineer will manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure, ensure system reliability and performance, and respond to incidents while collaborating with engineering and security teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to maintain high availability and operational resilience of GovCloud systems
- Manage and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure, including EKS clusters and databases, while ensuring compliance with federal standards
- Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment workflows and support the onboarding of security tools for compliance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure-focused roles
- Strong hands-on experience operating AWS GovCloud environments and understanding GovCloud-specific requirements
- Deep experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform
- Familiarity with federal security standards such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
- Working knowledge of Python and Bash, with experience in troubleshooting application code
