AWS Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical strategy and hands-on execution of AWS infrastructure, the full-time Principal AWS Infrastructure Engineer will manage Kubernetes/EKS lifecycle, improve Terraform-based infrastructure, and ensure compliance with audit requirements while working remotely or from the San Francisco or New York office.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Kubernetes/EKS lifecycle, including planning and executing cluster upgrades
- Enhance existing Terraform-based infrastructure as code at scale
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Data teams to meet audit and governance requirements
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes/EKS and Terraform/IaC at scale
- Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure, including enterprise networking and multi-AZ deployments
- Strong operational skills with Linux systems and shell scripting
- Experience with compliance and security standards, including SOC2 and audit readiness
