Job Summary
To support a large federal client's technology operations, the full-time AWS Infrastructure Engineer will architect the infrastructure-as-code approach for a RHEL 7 to RHEL 8 server migration, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipeline design, and AWS account structure, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect the AWS Infrastructure-as-Code approach using Terraform and CloudFormation for RHEL 8 server configurations
- Design AWS account structures, EC2 instance provisioning, and network connectivity to facilitate the migration process
- Own the architecture for automating the CI/CD pipeline that builds, tests, and deploys infrastructure and application changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience with an Associate's or High School diploma
- Demonstrated experience architecting AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, with expertise in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Experience designing and automating CI/CD pipelines for production environments
- Proficient in architecting AWS account structures, VPCs, and network connectivity
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server infrastructure, including OS version migrations
