AWS Infrastructure Program Manager

Job Summary

Driving AWS infrastructure cost governance and capacity planning, the remote contract Infrastructure Program Manager will manage infrastructure spend accountability, lead forecasting cycles, and identify optimization initiatives across engineering organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Own infrastructure spend accountability and budget management for an assigned engineering organization
• Lead quarterly AWS capacity forecasting and planning cycles while monitoring spend trends and driving corrective actions
• Partner with engineering teams to evaluate architecture decisions and support cost optimization initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure TPM, FinOps, capacity planning, or related roles
• Strong AWS experience, including EC2, capacity planning, and cost management
• Experience driving infrastructure cost optimization initiatives
• Ability to partner with engineering teams and challenge technical decisions using data
• Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards, reporting tools, or SQL/data tools
