AWS Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary

Owning AWS infrastructure spend and capacity planning, the remote Infrastructure Technical Project Manager will leverage technical, financial, and program management expertise to optimize cloud costs and forecast capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure spend and capacity planning while optimizing cloud costs
• Forecast infrastructure capacity and oversee infrastructure budgets in collaboration with engineering and finance teams
• Utilize analytical tools to provide data-driven recommendations and challenge engineering teams on resource requests

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure TPM, Capacity Planning, FinOps, or Infrastructure Program Management
• Strong expertise in AWS, particularly EC2, capacity planning, and cloud cost management
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance
• Proficient in using analytical tools such as Jira, SQL/data warehouses, or Superset
• Ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholder relationships
