AWS Network Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of cloud network infrastructure, the hybrid remote AWS Network Architect will architect secure, high-performance AWS environments, focusing on large-scale migration and modernization initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement secure cloud network infrastructure on AWS, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and Direct Connect
• Lead technical strategy for network segmentation, routing, and traffic management across multi-account AWS environments
• Drive large-scale cloud migration projects, overseeing the transition of legacy infrastructure to AWS

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture with a focus on AWS cloud networking
• Demonstrated experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Transit Gateway, and Route 53
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration projects and hybrid connectivity design
• Strong understanding of network security principles within AWS environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
