AWS Platform Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing IT team, the full-time AWS Platform Architect will manage system administration tasks, monitor system performance, and automate application deployments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks including user management and security configuration
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure high availability
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of containerized applications for efficient deployments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience deploying, managing, and monitoring resources in AWS
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for Infrastructure as Code
• Demonstrable experience in containerization management (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Salt or Ansible
• Familiarity with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MYSQL
