AWS Platform Support Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Tier 2 Platform Support Engineer AWS will manage AWS infrastructure administration, incident management, and platform reliability while utilizing core AWS skills and DevOps automation tools.
Key responsibilities
- Administer AWS infrastructure services including EC2, VPC, IAM, and RDS
- Perform incident management and root cause analysis to ensure platform stability and reliability
- Develop technical documentation and runbooks to support operations and service management
Required qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in AWS platform support and administration
- Proficiency in advanced Linux and Windows server administration
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Jenkins
- Certifications in AWS SysOps Associate or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and incident management processes
