AWS Security Assessor

Job Summary

To support a government contract, the AWS Security Assessor will lead the Risk Management Engineering team in conducting comprehensive security assessments and authorizations, focusing on cloud environments, while working remotely on a contingent basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement security strategies for cloud environments, including AWS and other platforms
• Conduct cloud security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Prepare security compliance reports and execute cloud Security Controls Test plans

Required qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain a DoED Level 6 High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least five years of related experience
• Five years of experience as a Security Controls Assessor or in a similar role focused on cloud security
• Proven experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and security as code methodologies
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or higher is required
