AWS Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a AWS Team Security and Compliance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the development of InfoSec engineering designs and implementation
• Identifies security issues and risks, and develops mitigation plans for standards for cloud implementations
• Architects, designs, implements, supports, and evaluates security-focused tools and services

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting cloud security, compliance, and risk management initiatives in AWS environments
• Hands-on experience implementing and monitoring AWS security controls, including IAM and network security
• Strong knowledge of federal and DoD security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, RMF)
• Experience supporting audits and ongoing security operations in regulated environments
• Active Secret clearance or higher, and IAT Level II certification (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)
