AWS Security Engineer

Job Summary

Delivering complex security and enterprise risk management solutions, the full-time AWS Security Engineer will work remotely across the USA, focusing on infrastructure as code, implementing security controls, and enhancing security within AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures including detective controls, encryption, and credential management in AWS environments
• Automate compliance evaluations and security assessments, ensuring adherence to AWS best practices and industry frameworks
• Integrate security testing and controls within the software delivery lifecycle to enhance DevSecOps practices

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS security and enterprise risk management
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security assessments aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security integration
