AWS Security Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and implementing security systems for a large serverless platform, the full-time Platform Security Engineer, AWS Serverless will focus on security automation, guardrails across AWS accounts, and secure infrastructure patterns while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop security automation and automated remediation solutions
• Establish guardrails and secure-by-default infrastructure patterns across thousands of AWS accounts
• Build developer tooling to facilitate secure implementation and enhance security controls

Required qualifications

• Experience building AWS security systems, not just operating security tools
• Proficiency in writing production code and managing deployed solutions
• In-depth understanding of AWS serverless architecture
• Familiarity with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, or SCPs
• Background in software, infrastructure, or platform engineering
