AWS Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Championing a major application modernization initiative, the remote-first AWS Solutions Architect will design complex application architectures, formulate technology roadmaps, and deliver hands-on architectural designs utilizing AWS services and open-source technologies in a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex, end-to-end application architectures that define component interactions and data flows
• Formulate technology roadmaps and reference architectures for containerized, cloud-native deployments
• Partner cross-functionally to develop technical validations, prototypes, and proofs of concept

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of software development experience within mid-to-large scale enterprise organizations
• 5+ years of experience defining enterprise-level architectures and technology roadmaps
• Deep technical expertise with AWS cloud services, microservices, and event-driven platforms
• Proven mastery of container orchestration design patterns utilizing Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS/Fargate
