Job Summary
To support a leading global company, the part-time Principal AWS Solution Architect - Professional will serve as a senior technical advisor for enterprise clients, focusing on architectural judgment, strategic direction, and escalation leadership while working remotely with occasional client travel.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the named lead architect for assigned advisory accounts, maintaining technical continuity and ownership of architectural decisions
- Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews and develop prioritized remediation roadmaps for clients based on findings
- Lead incident management and escalation processes, providing technical guidance during critical situations
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, architecture, or engineering
- 7+ years of experience designing and supporting production AWS environments at an enterprise scale
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification, current and in good standing
- 5+ years of client-facing consulting or advisory experience
- Demonstrable depth in AWS networking, security, and architecture for stateful enterprise workloads
