AWS Workspaces Migration Architect
Job Summary
Leading migration planning and architecture activities, the hybrid AWS Workspaces Migration Architect will design and implement AWS WorkSpaces solutions, establish enterprise image strategies, and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform while collaborating with clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery, assessment, and migration planning activities, including designing migration waves and transition plans
- Deploy and optimize AWS WorkSpaces solutions based on workload personas and business requirements
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS resources and automate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment
Required qualifications
- Expert-level experience with Terraform and familiarity with CloudFormation
- Proficiency in AWS WorkSpaces and EUC/VDI technologies such as FSLogix and App Volumes
- Strong background in image engineering, including Windows 10/11 Enterprise and Golden Image management
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline
- Knowledge of GitOps methodologies for infrastructure management
