Job Summary
Seeking a temporary Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster, the full-time position requires an AZ and CA Licensed Claims Adjuster to adjudicate complex indemnity claims remotely while managing case resolutions and reporting on claims trends until approximately August 28, 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate workers' compensation claims of higher technical complexity, impacting departmental results
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
- Negotiate settlements and prepare reports for file documentation to ensure timely resolution
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in AZ and CA
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with insurance designations
- CA Self-Insurance and AZ claims certification required at start of assignment
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen related to insurance operations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to work independently
